Women's Mission Trips
"Therefore, I urge you to imitate me. For this reason, I am sending
you…" - I Corinthians 4:16-17
Adventures in Missions would like to welcome you to be a part of a unique ministry
opportunity. AIM offers you the special privilege of joining other
Christian women in an exciting and challenging mission experience.
A time where you can minister among women and children in various
communities around the world, while spending quality time with one
another in prayer and discussion about women touching the lives
of women through Jesus Christ.
Imagine yourself and the women of your group going on a prayer walk in a dusty Mexican village, playing with a group of orphan children, going door-to-door sharing Jesus, providing a smile and a listening ear to a poor mother in Appalachia, ministering the Gospel of forgiveness and hope to a prostitute in the inner-city, or working at a medical clinic in the Dominican
Republic.
The Mission Experience - A typical trip will begin on Wednesday evening with a community dinner, followed by a time of Praise & Worship and getting to know one another. Thursday through Saturday will involve intense ministry opportunities - building relationships and spending time with women and children in the community. Each day will start off with a personal quiet time and the evenings will involve teaching, praise & worship, prayer and in-depth discussion. The week will end on Sunday, after attending a local church service, followed by a time of debriefing and wrap-up before departure.
Possible Ministry Activities - AIM trips feature intense ministry activities that include, but are not limited to:
- Visiting nursing homes and women's shelters
- Leading Bible studies within the community
- Visiting children at an orphanage
- Assisting at a medical clinic
- Conducting street evangelism
- Worshiping with Christian prisoners
- Doing sports evangelism with children
- Possibly even engaging in some construction and
repair!
